MILWAUKEE - The Marquette University women's volleyball squad will hold a weekend full of activities for its alumni over the University's Alumni Weekend (Nov. 14-15).

In conjunction with Marquette University's centennial celebration of women at Marquette, the Golden Eagles will recognize the first Marquette women's volleyball team (1975) between sets two and three of the match with Villanova on Nov. 15.

Prior to the match against Villanova at 1 p.m., an M Club tailgate will be held in the Eagles Nest at the Al McGuire Center. A post-match meet and greet will also be held in the media room where appetizers and beverages will be served.

An alumni match will be held at the MU Gym on Sat., Nov. 14 at 4:00 p.m. If interested in playing, individuals should contact Michaela Franklin at michaela.franklin@mu.edu or (414) 288-6094 by Wed., Nov. 11.

MU volleyball has blocked off rooms at the Hilton in downtown Milwaukee.  The room rate is $79.00 plus tax and is available on a first come, first serve basis. To reserve a room please call (414) 271-7250.
