Complete BIG EAST Release in PDF Format

MILWAUKEE -- Junior setter Caryn Mastandrea was named to the BIG EAST Honor Roll for the third time this year, the BIG EAST Conference announced Monday.

Mastandrea led the Marquette women's volleyball team to a win over Notre Dame on Sunday afternoon and a tough 3-2 loss at DePaul on Saturday. She recorded a near quadruple-double against the Fighting Irish, registering eight kills with no errors, a career-high tying 52 assists, eight digs and a career-high seven blocks. For the 5-foot-9 setter, her seven blocks topped her previous high of three against UW-Milwaukee set earlier this season.

Mastandrea was also named to the BIG EAST Honor Roll for the weeks of Sept. 15 and Oct. 6.

The women's volleyball team returns to action this Saturday at Villanova and at Seton Hall on Sunday.
