MILWAUKEE -- The Marquette University women's volleyball team will conclude its regular season with a pair of road matches beginning with Butler on Nov. 18 on 5 p.m. CT, and concluding with Xavier on Nov. 19 at 5 p.m. Central time.

The match against Xavier will be shown live on the BIG EAST Digital Network via the FOX Sports Go app.

Marquette Takes Down Butler, 3-2
Paced by four players with double digit kills, the Marquette University women's volleyball team outlasted a five-set battle and notched a 3-2 win (25-17, 25-19, 20-25, 22-25, 15-11) over Butler on Wednesday night at the Al McGuire Center.

The opening match against Butler will be a rematch of a five-set battle on Oct. 12 at the Al McGuire Center, which resulted in a MU victory. In the match, Louis added 20 kills, while Megan Niemann tallied 14 kills, while hitting at a .542 clip.

Throughout the 2016-17 campaign, Butler has relied on Anna Logan, who has notched 545 kills (4.40 per set), the most in the conference. The Golden Eagles will look to tap into past successes against Xavier, sweeping the Musketeers in three sets back on Oct. 5. MU hit .321 in the match, led by Rosenthal at .636, to come away with the victory.

After the weekend matches, MU will travel back to Indianapolis for the BIG EAST Conference Tournament, hosted by Butler beginning Nov. 25. The championship match is slated for Saturday, Nov. 26 with the winner earning the league's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
