MILWAUKEE -- The Marquette University women's volleyball team dropped their opening game in the Holiday Inn West Bronco Thanksgiving Challenge to Western Michigan, 3-0.

Following three straight Western Michigan kills, the Broncos took a 3-1 advantage and lengthened their lead to 9-3 on a kill by Katie Eberling. WMU closed out the scoring 25-17 in the first stanza.
