    Coaching Staff

    Laura Farina
    Marquette Head Volleyball Coach

Head Coach Laura Farina has the Marquette Volleyball program on the rise. Having already enjoyed an All-American playing career at Illinois and helped to lead Michigan State to five straight NCAA tournament appearances, Farina took over the Marquette program prior to the 1999 season. Her influence on the team is already apparent, as she led a young Golden Eagles team to an 18-13 record in 1999. It was Marquette's best record in over a decade, and her 18 victories equaled the most in school history. Farina has many years of experience coaching at various volleyball camps.

    Courtney DeBolt
    Marquette Asst. Volleyball Coach

Assistant Coach Courtney DeBolt also joined the Marquette Volleyball staff in April of 1999. DeBolt was a four-year letter winner at Michigan State from 1992-95. An All-American setter, DeBolt, ranks second in MSU history with 3,773 assists and 176 service aces. DeBolt also played professionally in the Netherlands from 1997-98 and trained with the USA National team from 1998-99.

    Matt Darling
    Marquette Asst. Volleyball Coach

Assistant Coach Matt Darling joined the Marquette Volleyball Staff in April of 1999. Prior to his arrival at Marquette, Darling served as the head volleyball coach at Tate's Creek High School in Lexington, KY from 1993-1994. Darling has worked as a camp coach at camps hosted by Kentucky, Georgia, Illinois, and Michigan State.

    R.T. Luczak
    Marquette Asst. Volleyball Coach

R.T. Luczak is in his second year with the Marquette Volleyball program. He has coached junior volleyball teams for each of the past five years, and he has enjoyed great success at the club level. Luczak brings a wealth of camp experience to Marquette's summer camps.
