Driving Instructions:
From the north:

• Interstate 43 serves Milwaukee from the north.
• Exit at Wells Street/North 11th Street (Exit 72C).
• Drive one block south on 11th Street to West Wisconsin Avenue and turn right.
• Continue west on Wisconsin Avenue to North 16th Street.
• Turn right on North 16th Street.
• The entrance to the parking structure is on 16th Street between Wisconsin Avenue and Wells Street. Visitor parking is free.

From the northwest:

• Take Highway 45 south to Interstate 94 east and continue with the directions for from the west.

From the south:

• If you are coming from the southwest on Interstate 43, continue to Interstate 94. Interstate 94 (east-west) enters the city from the south.
• Upon reaching the Milwaukee downtown area, take Interstate 43 north (towards Green Bay) and exit at the Civic Center/Kilbourn Avenue (Exit 72C) through the tunnel.
• Turn right on North 6th Street and drive two blocks to West Wisconsin Avenue.
• Turn right on Wisconsin Avenue and drive ten blocks to North 16th Street.
• Turn right on North 16th Street. The entrance to the parking structure is on 16th Street between Wisconsin Avenue and Wells Street. Visitor parking is free.

From the west:

• Interstate 94 (east-west) also enters Milwaukee from the west.
• Exit at North 13th Street (Exit 310A).
• Turn left and drive one block to West Clybourn Street.
• Turn left on Clybourn Street and drive three blocks to North 16th Street.
• Turn right on 16th Street. The entrance to the parking structure is on 16th Street between Wisconsin Avenue and Wells Street. Visitor parking is free.

Parking:
The main parking structure on campus offers free parking to University visitors. The six-level parking structure has 1,093 parking spaces and was finished in 1993. On the ground floor are offices for the Department of Public Safety , open 24 hours a day.
